You can rent moving trucks from our locations all over the Netherlands so that you can move easily and cheaply.
Rent a moving truck all over the Netherlands
We have car rental locations all over the Netherlands, so there’s never a long way to your nearest Oscar location. The vast majority of our locations offer rental of moving trucks. But there are exceptions. Please note that there are some car rental locations that do not offer moving trucks, in this case we recommend to rent a van instead.

When renting a moving truck through Oscar, both liability and collision insurance are included in the price.
100 kilometers per day are also included in the rental price. But if you are moving far away and need more than 100 kilometers per day, you can always purchase extra kilometers.
Rent a moving truck of any size
We offer moving trucks in many different sizes. If you have lots to move, you will be able to find a moving van that covers exactly the space requirements you need.
At Oscar, we offer moving trucks with a capacity of more than 20m3.
If you do not need that much space, you can also easily rent one of our smaller moving vans or trailers at even lower prices.
Many of the moving trucks we offer have lifts, so you can also easily transport heavier objects.
Renting moving vans on weekdays
Many of our locations offer rentals Monday to Thursday at much lower prices, than on weekends.
Rules for our moving trucks
At Oscar, anyone with a valid car driving license can rent a moving truck.
Everyone who is allowed to drive a normal car is allowed to rent and drive a moving truck. When you pick up your truck, please bring your driver’s license and health insurance card.
For drivers between 18-24 years of age, we also offer possibility to rent a moving truck. However, a higher deposit might be charged for these age groups. The deductible fees might also be increased. After your rental period is over, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.
If you are planning to drive the moving truck abroad, an additional small fee will be charged before the rental period begins for insurance reasons.

Do I need a special driver's license to drive a moving truck?
No. You are allowed to drive our moving trucks with a normal driver's license. In the Netherlands, that is a category B driver's license.
What does it cost to rent a moving truck?
We do not have a fixed price on our moving trucks, as the prices vary, depending on a car rental location. However, the prices normally range from €84 to €94.
How do I get a discount on your moving trucks?
We do not offer special discounts on our moving trucks.
But for most of our moving trucks, we offer a lower rental price Monday to Thursday, making it possible for you to save on your rental than booking on weekends.

No. We do not charge additional rental fees for drivers under 25.
You can rent a moving truck for the same price even if you are under 25 years old.
We will, in some cases, charge a bigger deposit, but it will be refunded to you at the end of the rental.
